The Clown Docs Program offers age-appropriate services to a paediatric population. We engage in spontaneous play with infants to young adults in hospitals, hospices and community settings. These clown artists are skilled in the areas of physical comedy, music, rhythm, dance and basic sign language.

 

They are on hand to create diversion during various medical procedures (needles, wound changes, etc) and to provide accompaniment during therapy sessions (Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, etc).

 

Our goal is to restore children's confidence, to celebrate milestones and to alleviate stress, boredom, pain and depression by being joyful, playful and sensitive companions.
